CLICKNL | DRIVE, the Design Research & Innovation Festival for the creative industry, will be held for the second time in Eindhoven on October 21 and 22 during the annual Dutch Design Week. DRIVE brings together designers, researchers, industry, government and Top Sectors and shows how research within the creative industry handles today’s complex challenges and contributes to societal innovations.
Next to that, the CLICKNL networks will show their latest research for innovation with a strong focus on design. In over 25 sessions each day, insights will be shared through project presentations, professor’s pitches, demonstrators, interactive sessions and small workshops. Participants can ‘pick ‘n mix’, depending on personal preferences.
Wednesday 21 October: CROSSOVERS: the festival starts with presentations on themes such as Business Innovation and will presents project set-ups, insights and results from various research programmes, such as Create Health, Create Energy, Smart Retail, Smart Industry and one of its field labs, UPPS (ultra personalised products and services).
Thursday October 22: the CIRCULAR ECONOMY is the theme of the day. Participants will enjoy a programme on various aspects of circular business and circular design, including findings of the IOP-IPCR projects on sustainability and insights from the recently started CLICKNL | DESIGN CIRCO project.
While in Eindhoven, visit the 3TU exhibition Mind the Step in the nearby Klokgebouw, with demonstrations of the results of 3TU design, research and innovation projects.
